ci-LOCKs Withstand Tornado
"I was at the site of the Freemont High School in Freemont, Nebraska after it had an F2 tornado go through it. Insulation blew off the roof and stacks of heavy door frames got tossed about. The Thermax™ Wall System was still hanging tight to the wall. At the time, part of the building was still open so there was significant pressure pushing against the foam. The only cleanup the installing contractor, E&K, had was to retrieve the unopened units of material out of the neighbor's yard."

In the THERMAX™ Wall System, WEATHERMATE™ Straight Flashing (also available from Wind-lock) is used to seal joints of THERMAX™ (ci) Exterior Insulation and thru-wall penetrations, such as windows and doors. It is also recommended behind all veneer tie penetrations.
